Category Archives: buzzThanks for coming over to the new blog / site! I’m excited to have everything anyone needs all in one place instead of going between the blog and main site. The old blog was great, but it’s time to move on. Sorry old blog. And with a new blog also comes a new studio! We are finally (mostly) settled in the Ft. Worth Studio. I’ve already had a few sessions & consults here, it’s been fabulous!
Rachel & Adam are awesome. Their wedding was awesome. Bri from Blue Lotus did an awesome job on the flowers. Elizabeth from After Yes Weddings was an awesome coordinator. Three Points Ranch is the most awesome venue ever. My second shooter, Stacey from Simple Moments, was awesome. Overall, everything was just awesome! And what makes it “awesomER”? Here’s a few more images from the day – enjoy!  We recently did our first bridal show & had a blast! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth, I look forward to chatting with you! I had a wedding the same afternoon, so two awesome gals – Casey & Becca – worked the both for us. Thank you so much, we couldn’t have done it without you two! I also have to thank my wonderful husband for building the amazing walls you see below. As with most construction projects, we thought it would take one afternoon & it ended up taking much much longer, but he didn’t complain (much anyway – ha ha ha). Love you!

We were excited to see that one of my recent bridal images won 5th place in the Artistic Guild of the WPJA!!! It was the first time I entered any images in this contest, so it’s awesome to get recognized!
in the most recent WPJA contest – 10th in the “Reception Ambiance” category with this shot from Laura & David’s wedding. It’s always great when an image gets recognized by such a great organization – I can’t wait until the next contest!
Well, not really – but I did get interviewed for the most recent issue of WedPix Magazine, an online magazine for brides and photographers put together by the WPJA. I think I sound kind of dorky, but I was really excited to be included – I guess I need to brush up on my interview skills – ha ha ha.Here’s the whole article if you’d like to read it!
Sandy & Garrett put together a gorgeous wedding, and they were a blast to photograph. I fell in love with this image the first time I saw it after staying up late the night of the wedding to download all of our memory cards – apparently the judges for WPJA agreed! To see the rest off all the great winning images, go here. The results for the fall WPJA contest was just released – and three of our images placed! Top wedding photojournalists from around the world entered thousands of their best images, so I’m honored (and unbelievably excited) to be among the winners!!!!
